Dr. Zenetta Rosaline was born in the city of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Her childhood was partly in the hill stations of Kundah, Manjur in the Nilgiris. Then she had to move to Tuticorin for her higher secondary education in Anglo Indian mode as her father’s job would take her. Her writing skills gave birth here and she was school topper in elocution and essay writing. After scoring the school first in her higher secondary she came back to Coimbatore to pursue B.Sc. Agri course at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. Her aspirations were more than crop production and insect rearing. She moved on to complete her MBA, MPhil, and PhD in management from Bharathiar University. She started her career as marketing manager for a national market. As she moved to family and bringing up her two sons she decided to teach her experiences. She also completed her one year EEC at IIM Bangalore to teach entrepreneurship. She is the recipient of AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools) WESchool Innovation award for innovative pedagogy in teaching entrepreneurship. Currently the Professor and Director in the department of women studies, of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She is passionate about listening to music, singing, and motivational speaking.
